Offering an as-needed suite of educational development services like coaching; pedagogical support; classroom observations (when remote); collaborative instructional design/learning experience design; and facilitating peer learning.

Institutions with limited budgets may supplement their Center for Teaching and Learning or equivalent with this option.

Instructional coaching and pedagogical troubleshooting. Supporting faculty to enhance their teaching and assessment methods.

Instructional Design

Collaborative, creative partnerships resulting in an instructional deliverable (lesson plan, workshop, curricular unit, syllabi, etc.).

Coaching

Open-ended strategy sessions to support academics with their likely many competing priorities.

Workshops

Standalone or series of workshops designed to support faculty. Topics depended on faculty needs and interests.

Peer Learning Facilitation

Group coaching, communities of practice (COP), Faculty Learning Community (FLC), Peer Learning Community (PLC), or Critical Friends based on your population's needs and goals.

Strategic Planning

Needs analysis to explore faculty needs and institutional values. Support with aligning these needs and values with goals and outcomes.

Classroom Observations

When feasible (local to DC or online/remote access), a detailed observation with constructive recommendations. This usually includes a pre-observation alignment meeting and observation debriefing.
